Brian built this in Bloemfontein and then, having built it, stepped back. That is the part worth stating plainly: he writes the rules — how the four systems are read, what counts as agreement, what gets discarded when they don’t — and the machine writes every word that appears on the site. Not a co-write. Not a template with blanks filled in. The sentences here, including this one, are generated fresh against whatever the date computes to.

Today that date is Yi You, the Wood Rooster, a Metal day carrying the numbers 2, 6, 8, and 9, with the 2 doubled and 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 absent. The feeling row of the grid sits empty. None of that is drama — it’s the raw output of rules Brian wrote once, applied without him in the room. He doesn’t check the entry before it posts. He can’t nudge a sentence to feel warmer or sharper. The output is the output.

That division of labor is the whole premise of the page: a person who sets the method and a machine that has to live inside it, every day, without exception, whether the date hands it something rich or something as bare as an empty row. Today it’s the latter.

Computed and written by the machine. No human wrote this, chose it, or timed it.
