Four things most calculators get wrong
Before you pay for anything, check these against a chart you already know. They are the difference between a calculation and a lookup table.
The year turns at Li Chun
Not 1 January, and not the lunar new year. Born on 3 February 1985 you are a Wood Rat. Born on 4 February you are a Wood Ox. The boundary is computed for your date, never assumed.
Your birth city, not your country
Toa Payoh resolves to its own coordinates and its own time zone, and so does Petaling Jaya. Same name, same date, same clock time, a different city — and the rising sign changes, sometimes the moon with it.
The hour pillar is computed
It needs your birth time and the true local zone. Leave the time blank and the report says plainly what could not be calculated, rather than filling the gap.
The day master, named plainly
The element your chart runs on, and whether it sits strong or weak in the month of the Chinese calendar it was born into. Printed on the snapshot page as a calculation you can check.
And what it does not do. No luck pillars, no ten gods, no verdict on your favourable element. What it does instead is cross four systems against each other and report where they contradict — which no single-tradition reading can do at all.

Why it reads differently
One voice, not five sections
Most readings hand you an astrology section, then a numerology section, then a Chinese zodiac section, and leave you to join them up yourself. That joining up is the actual work, and it is the part you are paying for.
