The Monthly takes two things that are usually left to sit side by side without ever being checked against each other: the personal month a chart is moving through, and the pillar that governs the stretch of the calendar it falls inside. Most systems treat these as separate weather — one from the birth data, one from the almanac — and leave the reader to reconcile them alone. This page does the reconciling first, and shows its work.

Agreement between a personal month and its pillar is not assumed and not manufactured. When the two line up, the page says so without dressing it up. When they don’t, the gap itself becomes the finding — not a problem to be solved, just a fact to be stated and left alone.
