That is the whole biographical file worth stating, because the About page is not a place for a life story — it’s a place to say who wrote the rules and who writes the words, and those are two different actors. He builds the logic: which four systems get computed, how a Gregorian date becomes a Yi You pillar, what counts as a finding worth surfacing. The machine writes every sentence that follows from it. No paragraph on this site is typed by a person. That division is the actual product.
Today’s chart is a small demonstration of the difference. A human noticing the number 2 appears twice in a date might be tempted to make it mean something grand. The machine just reports it — doubled, present, unremarked — the same way it reports that the feeling row sits empty and Earth is carrying three, Fire and Metal one each. No embellishment gets added on the way out, because there’s no one at that stage to add it. Brian decided what gets counted. He didn’t decide what today would find.
That’s the arrangement: one person setting rules he doesn’t get to bend later, one machine doing the counting and the writing, no room between them for a thumb on the scale.
