The About page exists because someone might reasonably ask who is behind Beyond Horoscope 28, and the honest answer is two parties, unevenly divided. Brian, in Bloemfontein, writes the rules. The machine writes every word. That division is the whole point of the page: no astrologer typing out a daily column, no editor smoothing phrases into something warmer than they are. Rules go in one end; sentences come out the other.

The date carries 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, with the 2 doubled, and the universal day number sitting at 4. The practical row of the grid completes itself today, which happens on some dates and not others, without asking permission or explanation.
None of that is decoration. It’s the actual output of the actual rules, run today the same way they’ll run tomorrow, unattended by opinion. Brian doesn’t intervene when the numbers come out strange or the elements stack lopsided, because intervening would defeat the reason the machine was built: to say what the systems say, not what would sound better if a person said it instead.
